“And that’s the story of ‘The Little Mermaid’.'” Mumma said closing the book. “Now you go to bed kiddo.”
She tucked Ham-Guri in bed, kissed him good night.
“Good night Mumma.” Hama said sleepily. But still tightly holding onto the sea horse soft toy his granny had given to him earlier today. “I love you.”
“I love you too baby.” She said. Then switched off the lights and silently closed the door behind her.
“Hey who are you? And what are you doing here?” Said a tiny rainbow coloured fish.
“I’m Hama-Guri and I have come to find the Mermaid.” The little boy replied but wondering how he was here with all the sea animals.
“But she doesn’t live here anymore. She swam into deeper oceans many years back.” Said a crab.
“Oh you little kids! It’s night now. Can’t you all chat a little softly?” Said the oyster opening its shell to yawn loudly.
“Hey that’s a pearl inside you!” Hama cried trying to touch it.
“Oh no no no! You don’t get that. That’s mine.” Said the oyster and shut its mouth.
