I Love You Hama-Guri

Contributed by: Gabriella Patterson. She is seven and she loves to bake cakes with her mother. She wants to be a chef when she grows up. With a little help from her mother, she wrote this poem.

Hama-Guri is now my best friend.
I love you little boy.
You make me laugh, you make me cry,
You make me learn, you make me think too.

I love your stories that mum tells me every night.
And I go to sleep dreaming about your farm.

I would love to eat some of ‘Mumma’s’ yummy food,
And then make some of mine too.

Someday I hope to meet you and Ma-Door,
In a land far far away.

Till then my friend do remain my best friend,
For today and for every day.
